    About Computertots

Computertots is now a subsidiary of ComputerExplorers In 1984, personal computers were still considered a luxury, and schools were figuring out how to best use the new technology as a learning tool. Moms Karen Marshall and Mary Rogers saw the teaching potential of computers and began Computertots/Computer Explorers with $1,500, one computer and 10 young students. Franchisees can operate the business using either a manager model or an owner-operated model. A manager employs a staff to assist in the teaching and operation of the business; the owner of an owner-operated model not only teaches classes, but also operates the business.

In 2003, Computertots/Computer Explorers was acquired by The International Center for Entrepreneurial Development Inc., which also owns Kwik Kopy Printing, Kwik Kopy Business Centers, Franklin's Printing, American Wholesale Thermographers, Copy Club, Women's Health Boutique and Parcel Plus.

    About 1800FIX.com

New opportunities in the cell phone and consumer electronics repair industries are a result of rapid advances in wireless mobile and computer technology. But unlike in the past, when people had a problem with their cell phone, laptop or game system and just went out to replace it with a new one, people are now looking to repair or trade their devices to reduce cost. This is especially true in today's market, with the high price of cell phones and the recent Smartphone equipment phenomenon that has flooded the marketplace. People and businesses now have much more limited options when these expensive devices break or are damaged. 1800FIX.com understands the frustration that comes with this and has built a strong, highly recognizable business and brand over a fifteen year period that is engaged in the repair, purchase, sale and trading of consumer electronics and related accessories, such as cell phones, computers, cameras, tablets, iPods and game systems, in addition to offering great pre-paid cellular services. Now we are bringing this unique, growth oriented business model to the franchise marketplace so that others can enjoy the opportunities that a 1800FIX.com store can offer.
