The Childrens Technology Workshop is focused on the development and delivery of hands-on, applied-technology curriculum. We have been designing and testing our programs since 1997. At CTW, we are serious about having fun and take pride in our commitment to developing the finest technology and science-based programs available to children. Our activities are under constant review by our full-time staff of educators, engineers, technologists and enthusiasts. We are confident that you'll agree with our philosophy that computers are more than just a tool for writing and researching. We believe computers and technology can empower all children to explore, invent and be creative using the right applications with the right direction. The Children's Technology Workshop offers a variety of programs, including after school, camp, academic and group workshops. Programs are divided by age and are available in different formats to meet scheduling needs of parents and group facilitators.
The first Odyssey Art Center was founded in 1974 by Linda Perlmutter. After quitting her job as a teacher to stay home with her newborn son, Perlmutter started teaching small groups of children in the basement studio of her home. Today, her art education franchise combines history, poetry, literature, science, music, math and current events with art.
