As natives of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Bunch family wanted to share the New Orleans caf'xperience with the rest of America. So in 1997, they opened the first Crescent City Beignets location in Houston. Today, each caf'n the chain serves muffins, coffee drinks, Creole dishes like gumbo and crawfish, and beignets, the fried pastry also known as the French doughnut.
