The first Odyssey Art Center was founded in 1974 by Linda Perlmutter. After quitting her job as a teacher to stay home with her newborn son, Perlmutter started teaching small groups of children in the basement studio of her home. Today, her art education franchise combines history, poetry, literature, science, music, math and current events with art.

Since then we have developed into a profitable education business offering courses in the fields of Natural Medicine, Manual /Massage Therapies and Beauty Therapy. Our College is nationally registered and qualifications are recognized worldwide. Our students come from all over the world, from different walks of life and are of various ages. Our courses are conducted on a full-time basis, part-time basis, and through distance education. This provides our students maximum flexibility, catering to their needs.
