About Bach to Rock

Now is the time to join one of the hottest industries and one of the fastest growing companies. Music has never been more central to popular culture. From television shows like American Idol, America's Got Talent and Glee, to video games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, America's never been more addicted to music. The proliferation of music in pop culture and evidence of its impact upon cognitive development have driven steady increases in the number of people participating in school music activities, private lessons and musical instrument ownership. And Bach to Rock, America's Music School, is poised to meet this growing demand. Bach To Rock is the Music School for students of all ages.Bach To Rock's unique method is based on the knowledge that students learn best when they join together to play the music they like the most. That's why we use special arrangements of the music of our time and combine individual lessons with band instruction. Weekly "jam sessions" lead to Battles of the Bands and recording sessions in Bach To Rock Studios, our own professional recording facilities. Bach To Rock also holds regularly scheduled public concerts that encourage students to become seasoned performers. These creative group activities foster teamwork, build self-esteem and motivate students to perfect their musicianship through independent practice.

In 2019 the total investment necessary to begin operation of a Bach to Rock franchise was $281,650 to $519,725. This includes $45,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliates. If you sign an Area Development Agreement to develop multiple Bach to Rock schools in a specified area, you must also pay the franchisor an area development fee equal to the greater of 50% of initial franchise fees that are required for each Bach to Rock school or $20,000.

About Challenge Island

Challenge Island Founder and Creator, Sharon Duke Estroff M.A.T. is an award-winning educator with over two decades of teaching experience in Atlanta public and private schools. She is the author of the popular parenting book Can I Have a Cell Phone for Hanukkah? (Random House) and a feature parenting and education writer for numerous national publications including Woman's Day, Good Housekeeping, Parents Magazine, and Huffington Post. Sharon created Challenge Island while on maternity leave with her fourth child. Maxed out on late-night reruns of a popular, realityTV show, she began wondering if the same basic principals (minus the voting and island part) could become a means of motivating her students to take on complex higher level thinking tasks. She poured everything she'd learned about children into developing this idea, incorporating cutting edge research and educational thought. By the time her daughter graduated from 3 am feedings, Challenge Island was ready for primetime. It's been growing by leaps and bounds ever since. Now over a decade later, thousands of children have experienced the magic and benefits of Challenge Island, as Sharon continues to develop fresh curriculum and content for this popular enrichment program.
