During the term of the Driven Landscapes franchise agreement, and at the discretion of the franchisor, franchisees must attend and successfully complete the initial training program and must devote full time and best efforts to the management and operation of the franchised business. Driven Landscapes is not an absentee or passive business model. The franchised business must also have constant supervision by the franchisee or by a designated and approved manager who has satisfactorily completed the initial training program. If more than one territory is owned by a franchisees, appointing an operating manager or similar individual to supervise crews and work is allowed and an operating manager is not required to have equity in the business. However, the manager will need to successfully complete the Driven Landscapes training program. Franchisees must also maintain competent, conscientious and trained staff, including a fully trained manager. There are no limitations posed by Driven Landscapes when it comes to hiring managers, but franchisees must comply with all applicable laws and must not harm the goodwill associated with Driven Landscapes with employee selections. In addition, Driven Landscapes reserves the right to approve the manager after training. The Driven Landscapes franchise must be operated in strict conformity with all applicable Federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations. These laws, ordinances and regulations vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction and may be implemented or interpreted in a different manner over time. Your income potential as a Driven Landscapes Franchise entrepreneur depends vastly on many factors. As an entrepreneur, the goals to achieve are related to expanding sales while lowering your operation costs and increasing the quality of your products and or services. Each month your operating costs can include royalty fees, mortgage / rent, supplies for products, staffing, utilities, bookwork, stationary and other items. From one month to the next, you may find your costs fluctuate, but your up-front costs are, for the most part, fixed and they will cover most of the initial setup of equipment, signage and renovations.
