Pest Control Company To Open New Branches In Pakistan, Mexico And China

Truly Nolen of America, the family owned pest control company known for its use of mouse cars as rolling billboards, is auctioning a fully restored 1931 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan on eBay, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to benefit the continuing hurricane relief efforts of the American Red Cross. The auction listing runs through Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. Eastern.

“We know how important it is to continue supporting the Red Cross, whose work doesn’t stop the week or two after the hurricane,” said Truly Nolen, CEO of the company that bears his name. “The work of the Red Cross in supporting those whose homes and jobs were destroyed will go on for months and in some cases, years.” Bidding had exceeded $3,000 within 24 hours of its listing. The green sedan with brown interior has four cylinders, electric starter and was fully restored in 2003. The vehicle has been lightly driven since Truly Nolen acquired it in 2004. The front windscreen cranks out like a sash window for “air conditioning” and the side windows all work. The car has a top speed of 45 miles per hour. All Model A Engines were rated at 24 horsepower SAE or 40 braking horsepower.

The car is located in Southwest Florida in Bonita Springs. Buyers may inspect the car at 24182 South Tamiami Trail, Suite 5.
