Home Preservation Systems Offers Preventive Maintenance Business Opportunities To Homebuilders And Remodelers

CENTRAL POINT, OR | Sunday, June 22, 2003

Company will provide licenses for use of its successful Home Preservation Services system to qualified builders in key U.S. cities.

Home Preservation Systems, LLC, with headquarters in Oregon, has begun licensing franchises to provide subscription-based preventive maintenance service to select homeowners.

Home Preservation Services’ HomeCare program was started and developed in Palo Alto, CA over the last eight years. HomeCare is a comprehensive combination of scheduled home inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair services for busy owners of high-quality homes.

The HPS system, when added to the existing offerings of the typical builder, create essential recurring revenue streams and access to large volumes of new clients. “We feel the synergy between our unique service offering, the average building company skill set, and the needs of the homeowner make an ideal combination,” said Bill Savage, HPS CEO. “Homeowners need a trustworthy service provider for the regular and proper care of their home--and the builder/remodeler is looking for continuous revenue flows and repeat relationships with homeowners”.

HomeCare is a complete package of preventive maintenance services tailored just for the home. It is designed to identify problems, create prioritized action plans, perpetually maintain the home, efficiently correct small problems, and provide screened professional referrals for larger repairs and upgrades. The maintenance service addresses over 260 critical elements of the home that require regular attention. The service is delivered quarterly at specific appointment times.

“Clients participating in our HomeCare program need no longer worry about, or devote their time and energy to, the maintenance of their homes. Maintenance tasks are performed automatically and repairs can be handled through a single telephone call,” said Steve Spratt, founder of the company.

Implementation of the HPS business is relatively painless for the remodeler. Proven systems, on-site training, operating manuals, and follow-up support makes starting the HPS business quick and smooth with little to no interference with the existing workflow.

Home Preservation Systems LLC was started in 2001 in order to expand the Home Preservation Services HomeCare program across the U.S. HPS CEO Bill Savage is former president of Public Storage, a nationwide mini-storage firm. HPS currently has franchises operating in Los Altos, Santa Rosa, and Marin, California as well as one in Louisville, Kentucky.
