Clowns, face painters and free ice cream are just a few things to look forward to at Little Scoops of Pomona. They're holding their huge Grand Opening event scheduled for Saturday, November 26 from 11am until 1pm. Who could miss nostalgic music, games and activities? They are perfectly located in Pomona, New York in the Pace Setter Shopping Center on Route 202. Little Scoops of Pomona is the third franchise to open for the LS Franchise family. This sweetest party place in town is set in a retro 50's ice cream parlor, where kids get to create their own sundaes with a wide selection of toppings. Debbie O'Connor, owner of Little Scoops in Pomona, began welcoming guests in September 2005. It is the first Little Scoops franchise to provide a retail area to their location, along with the private party space. O' Connor says, "I wanted to show people a Little Scoops party without interfering with a private event, the parties advertise themselves, with the retail ice cream sales diversifying my revenue stream. It seemed like a natural fit." The Grand Opening celebration promises to be a spectacular event. Children of all ages are invited to come to Little Scoops of Pomona from 11am until 1pm to enjoy a taste of old fashioned fun.
