Linda Kramer Named Chief Operating Officer

Wednesday, March 03, 2004

The Board of Directors of MOTO Franchise Corporation (MFC) is pleased to announce that Linda Kramer has been named its Chief Operating Officer. She will assume the title and responsibilities of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Harry Loyle, President and CEO, describes Linda as "one of the most results-oriented managers that I have ever had the pleasure of working with." Linda joined the MotoPhoto franchise system in 1995 as the Franchise Operations Support Specialist. Since that time, her passionate commitment, performance, leadership, and results have moved her from that position to Director of Accounts Receivable to Vice President of Operations and Training to Senior Vice President of Operations.

Along the way, she developed, implemented, and managed programs for Operations, Human Resources, Marketing and Training that contributed to the profitability of the company and franchise system. Linda attributes her advancement through the organization and her success to the talented and dedicated teams that she has worked with at MotoPhoto. She is a member of the Photo Marketing Association (PMA), Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA), International Franchise Association (IFA), and is working toward becoming a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE). Linda also fits the description of MotoPhoto's typical customer, the "memory keeper" females with a family. Linda has preserved seven generations of her family's history and loves making memories, so this interest, along with her leadership abilities, makes her an excellent fit for the new role. MotoPhoto is an upscale specialty retailer in the photo developing and portrait business. Since the acquisition of the MotoPhoto franchise system one year ago, the MFC team has been building a successful company and franchise system. Some of the highlights of the past year include the following: aligning with Fujifilm USA and Fuji Hunt for paper, chemicals, equipment and strategic support; implementing new operating programs for the franchise system such as MOTOePicsSM and MOTODVDSM; introducing new company initiatives that provide leasing and bookkeeping support to the franchisees; winning the 2003 Dayton Business Journal Rookie Business of the Year; and in 2003, achieving the second highest profit in the history of the MotoPhoto system.

MotoPhoto stores feature on-site processing, portrait studios, select merchandise, and offer state-of-the-art digital technology, including digital printing and writing images to CDs. MotoPhoto is North America's largest franchise system of one-hour photo processing stores with over 240 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
