Mca Acquires Computer Builders Warehouse

MCA, Inc., a business process innovation firm founded in 1989 by Dr. Perry Daneshgari, acquired Computer Builders Warehouse (CBW) this past month. CBW is a Michigan-based, retail, full-service computer manufacturing and service company. While continuing to build on CBW's past success, the new collaboration, formed on July 5, will provide computer technology for a wide range of commercial, retail, business process, and manufacturing environments. It will offer customers the necessary tools to regain, sustain, and increase corporate profits and growth.

This is great news for Michigan. Businesses and organizations in Michigan now have a local source for their business process, enterprise information system, and IT needs. No longer will business owners need to look to national brands to fulfill their process improvement, business system, and computer hardware and networking requirements. Now we can all keep our computer technology dollars at home in Michigan, employing Michigan workers.

For the past 17 years, Michigan-based CBW has been building and servicing computers and networks for personal and business use. CBW and MCA are planning to grow through expanding commercial services, and by enhancing their manufacturing operations to include private label products. They will also be increasing the number of CBW retail outlets in southeast Michigan and nationally.

MCA is also located in southeast Michigan.
