Showcase Of Freshly Baked Products

mmm Specialty Bakery & Beverage Co. (mmm) is one of two retail bakery concepts launched by mmmuffins Canada Corporation (MCC), one of the largest privately held franchise companies in Canada.

The first mmmarvellous mmmuffins opened its doors in 1979 based on a simple premise: Provide freshly baked mmmuffins� and fresh-ground coffee, and customers will come to your door.

And did they ever. Legions of customers lined up for their daily treats outside the 300-square foot store in Toronto's Eaton Centre, attracted by the irresistible aromas of fresh brewing coffee and warm mmmuffins� throughout the day. The store's on-premise oven visibly demonstrated the freshness of mmm's baked goods and produced the scents that lured customers daily by the dozen.

In response to growing demand, mmm expanded its menu to include more than 100 tempting varieties of mmmuffins�, as well as an assortment of streusels, swirls, cookies, brownies and squares. The Company also added a portfolio of hot and cold specialty beverages, including hot and cold cappuccinos, international coffees, flavoured teas and juices.

In recognition of the Company's 20th anniversary, mmm launched a new store design based on a more modern concept, with a brighter, fresher interior. The blue and yellow color scheme for which mmm has long been recognized has been revitalized into a livelier version of its former self. The elevated, brightly lit showcase of freshly baked products is the focal point of each store. Today, mmm continues to expand, focusing on select neighbourhoods which are consistent with its strategic criteria and which represent high-traffic locations within major cities.
