United Financial Services Group, franchisor of United Check Cashing centers, has been named as one the country's top 500 franchises by Entrepreneur Magazine. Ranked at number 130 this is a significant improvement from last year's ranking of 205 and is the seventh consecutive year United has appeared in the Magazine's Franchise 500 listing. "It is very rewarding to be included in the ranking. Every year we do a little better than the year before. It's a tribute to the fact that our franchise system keeps improving and growing," said Jack Leonard, United's President. In the past United Financial Services Group has received numerous honors. In addition to the Entrepreneur ranking, Success Magazine recently listed United as the top financial services franchise. Additionally, the company was included in Philadelphia's Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies by the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and had a feature articles in the Philadelphia Inquirer written by noted columnist Peter Binzen as well as trade press.
