24 Velocity Sports Performance Clients Taken During 2005 NFL Draft including First Round Picks Braylon Edwards, Demarcus Ware and Thomas Davis

Velocity Sports Performance, an advanced sports performance training company for athletes of all ages and skill levels, announced today that 24 of the NFL prospects training at Velocity Sports Performance centers across the country were selected during the 2005 NFL Draft. Among the Velocity Sports Performance clients drafted were three prominent first round picks: Braylon Edwards of the University of Michigan was selected third overall by the Cleveland Browns, Demarcus Ware of Troy State University was selected 11th overall by the Dallas Cowboys and Thomas Davis of the University of Georgia was selected 14th overall by the Carolina Panthers. The five additional Velocity Sports Performance clients who were drafted in the second and third rounds are: Stanford Routt, sixth pick in the second round, from the University of Houston was drafted by the Oakland Raiders; Odell Thurman, 16th pick in the second round, from the University of Georgia was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals; Eric Shelton, 22nd pick in the second round, from the University of Louisville was drafted by the Carolina Panthers; Courtney Roby, fourth pick in the third round, from Indiana University was drafted by the Tennessee Titans; Keven Everette, 22nd pick in the third round, from the University of Miami was drafted by the Buffalo Bills "It was an exciting experience to work with the coaches at Velocity Sports Performance who really pushed me to get better each day," said Thomas Davis, 14th overall pick from the University of Georgia.
