Daekyo Inks Deal On Public Education Programs In The Us

Tuesday, October 10, 2006

Daekyo has signed an agreement with the education district of California to start teaching slow learners and children of low-income class families starting September.

As a project that has been implemented since 2001 by the US Federal Government, the "Slow learner and low-income group children support program (Title 1)" starts with the regional education districts selecting and commissioning a private education serviceprovider with excellent educational programs to teach students requiring supplementary education.

Approximately 270,000 slow learners and low-income group children have been identified by the California Education District. Last year, around 55,000 of these children took part in the program. Daekyo hopes to secure more than 2,000 members every year in more than 10 education districts including the California Education District.
