REVOLUTIONARY FRANCHISE CONTINUES TO EXPAND ACROSS THE COUNTRY

CLIX Portrait Studios, just named one of the Top 100 Franchises launched since 2000 by Franchise Market Magazine, continues to grow as a picture perfect franchise opportunity. The Atlanta-based, rapidly expanding franchisor in the portrait photography industry remains focused with a record five studios open in just five weeks. In just over a year, the unique franchise concept has developed across the country and continues to change the face of the portrait photography industry. Since October 2006, CLIX opened franchised locations in Arlington, V.A., Manchester, N.H., Huntington, N.Y., Richmond, V.A., Ventura, C.A., and will soon be opening locations in Walnut Creek, C.A., Roseville, C.A., Orange County, C.A., and Seattle W.A. Joining the recently opened sites are six additional CLIX portrait studios operating in New York State, Pennsylvania and Michigan. The very first CLIX in the country opened in Upstate New York in August 2005. CLIX makes picture-taking fun while at the same time offering a unique, multifaceted business opportunity. The company offers three revenue streams under one roof with one franchise fee. CLIX's combined revenue streams include in-store portrait photography, special event photography and on-site, do-it-yourself and assisted photo imaging and design centers, which include digital scrapbooking and one hour digital photo production. At CLIX, customers take their finished photos home that same day. "CLIX is the perfect opportunity for people who want to own their own business but don't have time to build a new business from scratch," said David Asarnow, president and CEO of CLIX. "We believe that the CLIX three-pronged revenue structure, coupled with smart franchisees and our experienced support team and advisory board of directors, will guide CLIX into a multi-million dollar franchise-based operation. We have already built the CLIX business from the ground up - the hard work has been done for our franchises." "I've always wanted to own my own business. The time in my life was right. However, as a mother of young children it would have been difficult to build a new business," said Tracy Gorman, CLIX Long Island franchisee. "Opening a CLIX franchise is a perfect fit for me and my family at this stage in our lives. It provides the challenge and flexibility of owning my own business, but with the added assistance of an established franchisor with an extremely well-trained support system." CLIX and its executive team continue to present the franchise model and business opportunity to professionals across the country. To date, Asarnow has strong interest and additional franchise agreements in progress in a number of states across America including Illinois, Georgia, Florida, New York and Virginia. The team is on track to have a total of 27 CLIX studios open across the country by December 2007, well exceeding the company's goal set in August 2005, when the first CLIX opened for business. First established in 1999, the CLIX business model offers three distinct revenue streams for potential franchisees a retail-based portrait studio; a protected territory for on-site special event photography; and on-site, assisted or do-it-yourself photo imaging and scrapbooking design services. The company currently employs 85 people at 11 stores across Michigan, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Virginia and New Hampshire.
