Springhill Suites, A Marriott Franchise, Set To Open In Colonie

A 119-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott is scheduled to open Nov. 15 in Colonie, N.Y., off Central Avenue at the Fuller Road intersection.

Located at 8 California Ave., the four-story Marriott franchise is owned and managed by Rockgate Hotel Company of Overland Park, Mo.

The suites are up to 25 percent larger than traditional hotel rooms and include separate areas for sleeping, working and relaxing. There is also a complimentary breakfast buffet, same-day dry cleaning, valet service, an indoor swimming pool, an exercise room and a 200-square-foot meeting room.

Rates start at $169 per night.

There are more than 150 SpringHill Suites in the U.S. and Canada.
