"TossAcross expanding into Texas is extremely important to the goals of our company, and to the future growth needed to capture marketplace in the exploding fresh cut salad segment of the fast food industry," said a representative of TossAcross. "We are excited about moving into the South Texas, and look forward to expanding throughout the great State of Texas in the near future." TossAcross features fresh cut salads that are created and cut right in front of the customer on 300 lb butcher blocks. Unlike other salad franchises, TossAcross never pre-cuts the vegetables or lettuce that the salads are made from, that way the salads are the freshest and have the most flavor. In addition, fresh cut salads have optimal nutritional value as compared to pre-cut salads. TossAcross also features over 27 fresh made salad dressings, smoothies made from fresh cut fruit and real yogurt and soups, including many organic varieties.
TossAcross has 14 franchise agreements, as well as four master franchise agreements, and has another 12 in ongoing development nationwide. TossAcross expects to have 50 franchises by the end of 2008.
