Tampa-st. Pete-clearwater Leading Statewide Expansion Of Engel & Voelkers Franchises

A new Engel & Voelkers property shop located near International Mall in the West Shore district will soon showcase upscale homes from around the world when it opens within the next few months. This new franchise location joins an already existing, exclusive South Tampa Engel & Voelkers property shop and adds to the growing Bay area family of franchises that include a downtown St. Petersburg Engel & Voelkers site set to open this summer and three additional shops currently planned for Pinellas County.

Ray Alexander, a well established West Coast realtor and broker who recently acquired the licensee rights to the Engel & Voelkers property shop serving the Gulf Coast's Anna Maria Island, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton and Longboat Key areas, will share ownership of the West Shore franchise with Michal Winiarek. Winiarek first introduced the Engel & Voelkers brand to the Tampa Bay area by opening the area's first signature property shop in Hyde Park Village late last year.

June 2008 "" Kevin and Sara Maddocks, franchise owners of the downtown St. Petersburg Engel & Voelkers property shop, announce renovation of a 1,000-square-foot storefront site located in Bay Walk into an Engel & Voelkers property shop. The couple also own a St. Petersburg beaches franchise in partnership with Maddy Krasne. Previously, Krasne worked in franchise development for Engel & Voelkers Florida and helped introduce the brand to the statewide real estate community. Managing broker Diane Gaffney has also joined the growing ranks of Tampa Bay's Engel & Voelkers professionals and is working with Kevin and Sara Maddocks and Maddy Krasne to recruit agents, build the revenues of the franchise that will operate from a St. Petersburg beaches community location in early 2009 and assist with development of local marketing strategies.
