Automotive Franchise Systems (afs) Expands To New Headquarters In Warren, Michigan

Automotive Franchise Systems (AFS), has expanded to a new 56,000 square foot facility from a 15,000 square foot facility in Warren, Michigan to accommodate increased growth of their mobile automotive concepts AutoQual USA, DriveNStyle, Collision on Wheels and home service franchise Dryer Vent Wizard, Dry Clothes, Safe Homes.

The new facility located at 5523 E. Nine Mile Rd, houses 45 employees including administrative, sales, operations, training and distribution supporting nearly 200 franchisees in major U.S. markets. An additional 10 staff members are housed in offices located in Denver, Colorado.

AFS founders and franchisors, John Lynch and Greg Longe have a combined 35 years of franchising experience. The two became friends at Ziebart International, Troy, Michigan where both had decade long careers. Prior to co- founding AFS, Lynch, a CPA, was formerly Ziebart CFO and COO. Longe served as VP of Worldwide Development and officer of Ziebart prior to his appointment as President and CEO of Molly Maid and Mr. Handyman, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

AFS has experienced double digit annual growth in both earnings and franchise units each year since its inception in 2003. AFS is a company with the experience to acquire, promote and cultivate franchise companies in the U.S. and abroad.

The pair founded AFS upon acquiring a stagnating Littleton, Colorado based franchisor, AutoQual USA (AQ). AQ specializes in interior reconditioning of vehicle carpets and seat repair for new car dealers with used car departments. The company has grown from 28 franchisees to nearly 100 in a two year span with locations in the U.S. and Canada.

After successfully relaunching AutoQual, AFS acquired the rights to franchise DriveNStyle (DNS), in 2004. DNS creates "special edition" vehicles for new car dealers by accessorizing vehicle interior and exteriors such as interior treatments, mobile electronics, grills, spoilers and hood scoops.

In early 2006, AFS launched Dryer Vent Wizard, Dry Clothes, Safe Homes, a home service franchise that specializes in cleaning, repairing, altering and installing dryer vents for residential and commercial customers.

In late 2006, the company launched its newest concept Collision on Wheels, a mobile body shop on wheels servicing new car dealers with used car departments and residential customers.
