Hoyle is co-founder and former chief executive officer of Rise & Dine Restaurants Inc. Webb is a former vice president of franchise sales for Wendy's International Inc. (NYSE: WEN) The expansion will revolve around entrepreneurial opportunities for established businesspeople in search of an alternative. Westshore Pizza will focus first on creating brand awareness and opening restaurants within Florida and then look to grow nationally, Hoyle said.
Franchisees startup costs include a franchise fee of $30,000 and a build-out cost ranging from $145,000 to $225,000. The typical cost of an existing restaurant can vary with sites ranging from take-home only stores to large neighborhood gathering places with flat screen TVs, a release said.
Franchisees will receive guidance in startup, development, operations and training, in addition to ongoing support and marketing materials, the company said.
Westshore Pizza, founded in Tampa in 1994 by Bob Vasaturo, has 40 locations in the Tampa Bay area.
Rise & Dine Restaurants is a breakfast and lunch restaurant franchisor based in Columbus, Ohio.
