Wilmington Man Wins Clean Air Lawn Service Contest

A Wilmington man has won a national contest to create an environmentally friendly lawn service.

James Turner said he's always wanted to start a landscaping company that uses electrical lawn mowers, instead of gas ones. This competition was his chance to win a clean air lawn care franchise.

People across the country voted for their favorite ideas.

The company, Clean Air Lawn Care, will provide Turner with training and purchase the equipment he needs.

"No one has cash around these days to flop it down on a company," said Turner. "This would definitely be incredible and help me start this company.
