Sharperimage.com Hires Chief Marketing Officer

SharperImage.com announced today the hiring of Steve August as their Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. August will have complete responsibility for all direct marketing efforts including Online, Catalog, Affiliate, CRM, Portals and Partnerships. He will also have oversight of all customer analytics and database modeling.

After successfully re-launching the web site in October of 2009, SharperImage.com looks to expand their marketing efforts in 2010. In addition, they will mail their first catalog in time for Father's Day with additional circulation throughout the balance of the year.

Prior to joining SharperImage.com, Mr. August spent 9 years at Brookstone where he most recently served as Operating Vice President for Customer Marketing.
