Home-based travel agent franchisor CruiseOne is giving away five franchises to educators past and present in its national Second Chance at Success contest. Each winner will receive a free CruiseOne franchise, including waiver of $9,800 initial start-up fee and one year of waived monthly service fees, CruiseOne said in a statement Monday. The winning educators will also receive six days of training at CruiseOne's Fort Lauderdale headquarters with travel expenses reimbursed. "Historically, we've found that teachers make great travel agents and former educators are currently some of CruiseOne's top producers," CruiseOne Senior Vice President, General Manager Dwain Wall said. To enter, current teachers, laid-off teachers or retired teachers (including teachers' assistants and professors) must complete an online entry form here by 11:59 p.m. ET Oct. 31, 2011 or at CruiseOne's Facebook page.
Winners will be announced by late-November, CruiseOne said.
CruiseOne, which has more than 720 locations nationwide, is a unit of cruise retailer World Travel Holdings.
