Church's Chicken Customers Get Poetic

In honor of Church's Chicken Sandwich Celebration, the chain is asking fans to express their feelings for their favorite sandwich.

Starting today, fans can enter an original poem on the brand's Facebook page for a chance to win the grand prize � free Church's Chicken for a year.

"We have spirited and creative fans who like us on Facebook and are passionate about Church's Chicken," said Joel Bulger, Church's SVP of Brand Marketing. "This contest about our chicken sandwiches promises to deliver Church's own fun version of poetry slam." To enter, fans need to "like" Church's Facebook page and then click on "Create Poem." They then need to create a poem about Church's Chicken sandwiches in 50 words or less Fans can then post approved poems on their Facebook wall and invite up to 50 friends to "like" it each day. The more friends and family invited to like an individual's poem, the better the chances for securing votes and one of the top three prizes. The top three poems with the most likes will make it to the final three, when fans will be able to decide the winner.

The grand prize winner will win $550 worth of Church's Chicken gift checks. The second place winner will receive $100 worth of Church's Chicken gift checks and the third place winner will receive $50 worth of Church's Chicken gift checks.
