Penn Station Hires New Sales Director

Wednesday, April 18, 2012

Penn Station East Coast Subs has announced the addition of Jad Buckman as director of sales. Buckman was previously in agency development with the Farmers Insurance Group and worked for Wells Fargo Bank in a variety of management, sales and business development roles. Buckman has a bachelor's degree in business communication from Bowling Green State University.

"I am very excited to get started at Penn Station," Buckman said. "It's a great company and I have been a fan of the product for years. I think my sales and business development experience will be very useful as I start this new position, and I'm looking forward to helping the Penn Station brand grow." Originally founded in Cincinnati in 1985, Penn Station now has more than 235 restaurants in 13 states including Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. All but two locations are franchised. Projections call for the opening of 30 restaurants in 2012, increasing to 40 in 2013 and 45 in 2014. Markets targeted for growth include Kansas City, Mo., Richmond, Va., Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Tenn., and North and South Carolina, as well as a number of other existing markets.
