On October 14th, the restaurant will donate 100% of all proceeds from its private, pre-opening training day to Pack of Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to erasing child hunger in McLennan County by supplying participating school districts and their eligible students with backpacks filled with nutritious food to prevent hunger from Friday through Sunday while they are not in school. "Every donation made to Pack of Hope helps us send McLennan County students home on the weekends with adequate food supplies. We are so honored to have the support of The Egg & I of Waco," said Jane Bounds, President of Pack of Hope.
