But it's not what you think.
Davison couple Zak and Angie Hawley recently opened College Hunks Hauling Junk and College Hunks Moving a Washington D.C.-based franchise that specializes in junk removal and moving services.
Their store 3329 Lapeer Road in Flint is the 46th franchise in the company's 10-year history.
"Hunks," Angie Hawley explained, is an acronym that encompasses the business philosophy of College Hunks Hauling Junk and College Hunks Moving.
"HUNKS stands for Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable Students," she said. "We go to colleges and do recruiting for our staff at all of the colleges here in Genesee County. We target the typical college hunks the way we describe hunks." The Hawleys learned about the franchise through some relatives in St. Louis, Mo., who bought into the company a few years ago.
As a full-service moving and junk-hauling company, College Hunks Hauling Junk and College Hunks Moving does packing, unpacking, hauling, loading and several other jobs. Angie Hawley said that the company also helps move furniture or rearrange living spaces if their clients require it.
"We've wanted to own our own business for years now. Our dream was to have a family business that we could one day pass on to our children," she said.
"As soon as we looked into College Hunks we loved the brand, the values, the vision everything about it really fit with our idea of a family business. Plus, there's definitely a big need for junk removal and moving in Genesee County. Everything just sort of clicked." One of the co-founders of College Hunks, CEO Omar Soliman, said that he's excited about the Hawleys opening a franchise in Flint.

"The Hawleys are going to do great things. As business owners, you can tell they understand the importance of building real relationships in their community," Soliman said.
"Really, it just speaks to who they are as people. Angie and Zak are two great individuals who I can tell, as a team, are going to represent College Hunks in an extraordinary way." As of now, the Flint company employs five people, not counting the Hawleys.
They said the company is looking to fill a part-time sales position and that they are always accepting applications. They don't just hire men, despite the reference to hunks.
"Zak and I are both from the Flint area, so the people here are our friends, family and neighbors," Angie Hawley said.
"It's exciting to have a chance to help grow our communities by bringing some jobs to Genesee County. We hire women as well as men. I know we can make a difference here and it's a great feeling." Clint Begain began work in February with College Hunks and works as one of the team captains for the Flint location. He is a recent graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.
"It's very exciting (to work here). It's an uppity, spirited company," Begain said. "We're ready to go at all times. We work together as a team and I think it'll be a very successful business. I believe it's on its way to take off." College Hunks will have its grand opening ceremony at Hoffman's Deli in downtown Flint on April 12 at from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Radio station CK 105.5 will be there with a live remote and doing giveaways. Hoffman's will also feature a hunk sandwich for the week and offer additional lunch specials for the event.
