New Burger Joint Bagger Daves Coming To Fort Wayne

A new burger restaurant that boasts "freshly-crafted" foods will be opening in Fort Wayne in December.

Bagger Dave's Freshly Crafted Burger Tavern plans to open its 2886 E. Dupont Road location on Sunday, December 15 at 11 a.m. Sunday's grand opening will follow an invitation only-VIP event on Friday and a friends and family event on Saturday.

The restaurant promises a warm atmosphere, hand-crafted beef, turkey or black bean burgers, never-frozen ingredients, artisan buns, premium toppings, and a bar with local bottle and draft beers and wine. The menu will also feature mac 'n cheese, fresh-cut fries, sweet potato chips, salads and hand-dipped milkshakes.

Bagger Dave's expects to hire about 80 local employees. "The Fort Wayne location is our final opening of 2013 and I think we have saved the best for last," said Michael Ansley, president and CEO of Diversified Restaurant Holdings, which operates Bagger Dave's.
