Express Makes Franchise 500 List Seven Years In A Row

Express Employment Professionals has been named the No. 1 staffing franchise in the U.S. by Entrepreneur Magazine as part of the magazine's 35th annual Franchise 500 list. Express also ranked in the top 100 on the magazine's Top Global Franchises list in America, achieving a ranking of No. 71.

"We're proud to be recognized as a leader not only in the staffing industry, but also in the franchising industry," said Bob Funk, CEO, president and chairman of the board. "Being ranked No. 71 on the Franchise 500� list is an amazing accomplishment for our franchise network."

This marks the seventh year in a row that Express has been named to the Franchise 500 and America's Top Global Franchises lists. The ranking is based on financial strength and stability, growth rate and the number of years a company has been in business.

"The Franchise 500 list features many successful franchise businesses, and Express is pleased to be in such great company," Funk said.

Express plans to expand in strategic markets in 30 states and Canada, and will give the first 100 franchise owners $31,000 to kickstart their new business. Currently, Express is focusing expansion efforts in Wheeling, W.Va.; Twin Falls and Idaho City, Idaho; Greenville, Miss., and Chillicothe, Ohio.

Express opened 74 franchise locations in 2013, growing its network to 675 franchises throughout the U.S., Canada and South Africa.
