Owner of the franchise, Joanie
Krehbiel, says Wheel Fun Rentals
has a brand new full fleet of exciting
pedal driven cycles, giving you the

menu of strictly 21st century bicycles
to satisfy the whims of even the most
hard-to-please personalities. Wheel

reminiscent of a 1950's family riding

Krehbiel's background gives a
great perspective on her new
business and how she offers the
ultimate in fun and recreation for the
entire family, from toddlers through
grandparents. She moved to Bend in
1988 and became the recreation
director at Sunriver Resort and then
on to the Hotel del Coronado in San
Diego as the recreation director in
1998. She also worked for Wheel
Fun Rentals corporate office in
Ventura, California and decided to
move back to Bend to start up her
own franchise in 2003. Locations
include Black Butte Ranch, Eagle
Crest Resort, Thousand Trails
Sunriver, downtown Bend Phoenix

Surrey
is a family four-wheeled
cycle, offered in two models, that
seats three adults plus two children
or six adults plus two children. Lots
of people get to pedal and grandma
and the baby can come along for the
ride; it is great fun for ages 1 to 99.
The
Deuce Coupe
is a recumbent
style two-seater allowing both people
to pedal sitting side-by-side. Adults
and/or children can pedal together
and there's a jump seat in the back to
carry small children six years and
younger. They also have Cruisers,
Tandems, Mountain Bikes and more.
