Rent- A - Center Franchising International, Inc. Officials Earn I F A Certified Franchise Executive Designations

In conjunction with Rent-A-Center's 2014 Initial Franchise Offering and a sign of future franchising growth plans, two members of the Rent-A-Center Franchising, International, Inc. ("RACFI") executive team were recognized as Certified Franchise Executives by the Institute of CFEs on Monday, February 24 at the International Franchising Association Annual Convention in New Orleans.

RACFI Senior Vice President Cathy Skula and Vice President of Franchise Operations Fred Mattox earned their CFE designations by completing a comprehensive course of study in franchise management offered by the institute, which is the academic branch of the International Franchise Association's Educational Foundation. The International Franchise Association is the world's oldest and largest organization representing franchising worldwide.

They are joined by existing CFE members on the Rent-A-Center team, Vice President of Franchise Development Michael Landry and Ross Beaton, Corporate Director of Market Planning.

"We are proud of the level of expertise in the Rent-to-Own industry possessed by the RACFI management team, and we wanted to ensure it was matched by an equal level of franchising knowledge," said Skula. "The CFE process and designation has enabled our team to expand their franchising skills to help provide the highest level of support to our franchisees as we grow the Rent-A-Center brand." One hundred and fifty-five franchise executives gained their Certified Franchise Executives"� designation during the IFA's 54th Annual Convention. At this year's convention the CFE program also celebrated the 1,000th CFE graduate. In addition to the courses of study, candidate activities needed to earn CFE designation includes attending institute-sponsored educational seminars and workshops. The program enhances franchise professionals"� understanding of the industry's fundamental and complex aspects.
