Since their past years, Meredith and Montreal have experienced various fields in the business industry. Meredith's work experience includes wealth management and financial securities. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women. For 20 years, Montreal has been in the personal protection business field and maintained services for lawns. The married couple has been seeking franchise opportunities, and decided Lawn Doctor provided the right business structure and financial security to pursue that "direct relationship between hard work and the payoff".

Additionally, family life is very important. With a newborn, the couple hopes to see the children financially stable and prefers a company that demonstrates similar values.
