Sweetfrog Yogurt Franchise Opens 2nd Location In South Glens Falls

The second sweetFrog Premium Frozen Yogurt shop in the area opened at noon Friday in the Queensbury Plaza on Route 9.

Rich Fulkow, who opened sweetFrog's 300th franchise in South Glens Falls at 13 Saratoga Ave. in August, is opening his second location next to Petco.

The new location has a playground inside. Entrepreneur Derek Cha started the franchise in 2009 in Virginia. Despite opening during a recession, sweetFrog has grown rapidly with now 320 stores in 25 states and overseas. "Frog" is actually an acronym for "Fully Rely On God," according to the company website.
