Just Between Friends Franchise Systems, Inc., the leading children's and maternity consignment event in the U.S., announced plans to expand throughout Canada. Just Between Friends successfully launched its first Canadian franchise in November in Vancouver and is actively looking for new franchisees in all provinces except Quebec.

Just Between Friends (JBF) was founded in 1997 in a living room in Tulsa, Okla. when two moms wanted to save money on children's items. The sale grew quickly and franchised in 2004 in the United States. Today there are more than 135 U.S. franchises and one in Canada. Just Between Friends' events help more than 500,000 families save and earn money each year while also offering an affordable business opportunity.

JBF helps families make money by participating as a consignor to sell new and gently used children's and maternity items that their families have outgrown or never used. Consignors receive 60 to 70 percent of their sales. Families shop and save between 50 and 90 percent off retail. Each Just Between Friends event also supports a local charity.
