Jack in the Box Foundation Donates $325,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters

Monday, April 13, 2015

The Jack in the Box Foundation today announced a $325,000 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters, which will allocate a large portion of the funds to provide mentors to children from military families, including children of the deployed, children of the fallen and children of the wounded and disabled.

Monies for the donation were raised during the 25th annual Jack in the Box Charity Golf Tournament, which was held April 9-10 in Indian Wells, California. Nearly 400 Jack in the Box restaurant franchisees, employees and vendors attended the event at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa. Joining the Jack in the Box Foundation as co-title sponsor for this year's event was the Jack in the Box National Franchise Association, which represents more than 100 franchise owners with more than 1,700 Jack in the Box restaurants.

To date in 2015, the Jack in the Box Foundation has donated more than a half million dollars to Big Brothers Big Sisters, including a $220,000 donation in January comprising proceeds from the sale of a limited-edition ornament during the holidays.
