Family-Dining Brand Contracted to Service More than 130 Commissaries on U.S and International Bases
The Award-Winning casual-dining franchise Quaker Steak & Lube, known for its Best Wings USA and more than 25 sauces, announced today it signed a contract with brokerage groups to provide sauce to 135 commissaries on U.S. and International bases. The Lube is best known for its award-winning sauces, including the popular Louisiana Lickers, and has been recognized by the National Buffalo Wing Festival in its best sauce categories. "We tip our hats to all members of the U.S. Military and are honored that our newest contract will allow us to service more than 130 commissaries," said Greg Lippert, President and CEO, Quaker Steak & Lube. "We are proud to offer America's heroes the flavors of their favorite Quaker Steak & Lube sauces that will provide a little taste of home while they are protecting our country." Military sauce orders are coordinated at The Lube's headquarters in Sharon, Pa. and are distributed out of Haddon House in Richburg, S.C. Quaker Steak & Lube team members Laurie Biblis, General Manager Retail Sauce Division, and Morgan Sweeney, Assistant Manager, Retail Sauces developed these partnerships for the brand. Flavors offered to active-duty members in the U.S include Arizona Ranch, Golden Garlic and Louisiana Lickers, which are available for purchase in over 130 commissaries. . Packages distributed overseas to Kuwait, Afghanistan and Qatar include: Arizona Ranch, Buckeye BBQ, Louisiana Lickers and Thai "R" Cracker. Sauces are provided in 1-gallon jugs and 12oz bottles for each Military chef to use as they cook and for use during meals as condiments Quaker Steak & Lube also distributes Award-Winning sauces to more than 700 grocery stores including Giant Eagle, Shop 'n Save, Walmart and Sam's Club, throughout Kentucky, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
