The Dog Stop, an All-inclusive Dog Care Franchise opens in Lafayette, LA

The Dog Stop, an All Inclusive Dog Care, Boarding, and Retail Store, based in Pittsburgh, PA, announces the opening of its first location in the South and Louisiana. The new location will open June 19 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Dog lover Trey Boone and business partner and local baker, Skylar Manuel of Sky's The Limit Cakes, will operate the store.

The facility will be located at 103 Turn Row, on Pinhook Road. It will be conveniently situated between fast growing areas of Youngsville Hwy and Verot School Road. The state-of-the-art facility has over 11,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor area for dogs to run and play every day. It will offer The Dog Stop's complete variety of services including Boarding, Day Care, Grooming, Obedience Training, In-Home Services, Dog Walking, and a full Retail Store featuring premium health-conscious and organic foods, treats, toys, and accessories at highly competitive prices.

The Dog Stop chose Lafayette after researching the Acadiana region and realizing a void for an all inclusive dog care facility. "After speaking with fellow dog lovers about dog foods and treats they wanted but couldn't find in Lafayette, it clicked that a one-stop Dog Stop was exactly what everyone wanted," "As a city, Lafayette, has a large dog population that we believed aren't being served with the services that they demand, First Class Dog Care, Specialty foods, and Dog Treats." said Trey Boone The Dog Stop opened its doors in 2009 with owners and founders Jesse Coslov and Chris Kane as its only employees. In less than six years, the company has grown to over 70 employees, six stores, and many stores in the development stage.
