Design, print, and shipping franchise hires industry pro as it ramps up for rapid expansion

PostNet is gearing up to accelerate its incredible expansion campaign, which has successfully established the brand in nine countries. To strengthen its foothold in the United States, as well as to reach new global markets, our dynamic print, design, and shipping franchise has named Chip Baranowski as Director of Franchise Development.

Chip brings nearly 20 years of franchising experience to the PostNet team. He will spearhead PostNet domestic and international franchise growth by managing the people, processes, budgets, strategies, and tactics associated with recruiting strong franchise candidates.

"One of the things that attracted me to PostNet is the company's core values," Chip says. "At PostNet, we really do talk the talk and walk the walk. I'm one of several that the executive team has brought on to grow the company. Once we get this train out of the station, the excitement of what we'll be able to do is unbelievable." Chip has done a lot - and we are excited to bring his expertise in franchise development to PostNet. Most recently, Chip served as Vice President of Franchise Development for Honest-1 Auto Care, where he was responsible for U.S. franchise expansion, and he played an integral role in growing system revenues, strategic planning, and increasing unit-level profitability. In just three years, he increased franchise lead generation by 123 percent. Before that, Chip was Regional Vice President at United Franchise Group, Manager of Franchise Development at Unishippers, Director of Franchise Development at Data Preserve, and Director of Franchise Development at Nationwide Floorcovering Inc.

"I'm excited that PostNet, who has been franchising for 22 years, has a history of investing in people," Chip says. "The talent and the experience that PostNet has brought on are exciting. You can feel the energy and positivity." PostNet is growing because the shipping franchise is beating the market PostNet loves small businesses. We offer printing, shipping, graphic design and a host of other services to help business owners market their services. Although people might call us a printing franchise, marketing franchise, or even a shipping franchise, we consider ourselves first and foremost a consulting franchise. Our franchisees listen to customers, learn about their businesses, and craft custom solutions.

As small businesses look for help staying on top of their marketing and logistics needs, the demand for consulting franchises is up. According to U.S. clients surveyed by market researcher Source Information Services, the U.S. market for management consulting grew to $39.3 billion between 2011 and 2012. PostNet is filling that demand for small businesses by presenting themselves as true consultants in the marketing and logistics space.

PostNet is looking for community-minded entrepreneurs The success of the PostNet Neighborhood Business Centers business model is that it provides graphic design, marketing, printing, and logistics solutions that help clients reach and win more customers anywhere in the world. The range of services we offer makes us unique, as does the personal business relationship that our franchisees are able to offer fellow entrepreneurs in their communities.

Because the PostNet mission is entirely focused on helping small businesses expand, we look to partner with entrepreneurs who are passionate about improving their communities.

"Our ideal shipping franchise owner is a person that wants to own a business but also wants to be a part of their community," Chip says. "Our business has a lot to do with helping local community, and we want to partner with a person that has a drive to succeed. You don't have to be a salesperson, but you do have to able to network. You can't be afraid of being out in your community and forming relationships. We will give you the tools to succeed, but you have to go out there, take ownership of the store, and execute the business plan."
