Leading Building Maintenance Management Company Named Top Franchise Opportunity for Military Veterans

Franchise Business Review recently announced the recipients of its 2015 "Top Franchises for Veterans" award, part of a national project that looks at franchisee satisfaction among thousands of U.S. military veterans in franchise ownership. The findings are based on survey data from more than 3,000 veteran franchisees representing 285 franchise brands.

City Wide Franchise, the nation's leading building maintenance management company, was included in the report based on its exceptional survey results. It was the only company in its category to receive the prestigious designation. "There is nothing better than providing those who have served our country an opportunity to build their own business," said Jeff Oddo, CEO and president of Lenexa-based City Wide. "For more than a decade, we have provided our nation's veterans with the back-end training and support needed to succeed in business ownership. We have a number of high-performing veterans within our franchise system and we look forward to adding even more in the months and years to come." To select the top 100 companies for the report, Franchise Business Review measured overall satisfaction among military veterans within the franchise system, considering factors such as training and support, leadership, and financial opportunity. "Many franchises entice veterans to invest via special incentives and discounts, but what really matters is what happens after they buy a franchise. The franchises featured in our "Top Franchises For Veterans" report have earned the seal of approval from the veterans who own them," says Michelle Rowan, President of Franchise Business Review.

In addition the "Top Franchises for Veterans" report, Franchise Business Review publishes reports throughout the year on the top-rated companies and industry segments within the franchise marketplace. In March, the company will release its annual "Guide to Today's Top Franchises" report, which includes more detail on the state of franchising in 2015 and on each of the award-winning companies.
