Leading restoration company highlights communication software, FUSION, as part of brand's success

Rainbow International Restoration, a leading franchise providing residential and commercial restoration and cleaning services, has announced its advanced FUSION software platform helped achieve company growth and success since implementation in 2014. Last year was the first full year of FUSION's implementation for Rainbow International's more than 300 North American locations on a single management platform. The platform has helped the brand's franchisees significantly increase their service offerings, streamline communication and improve customer service.

Utilizing Next Gear's DASH management technology for both corporate and franchisee claim management, Rainbow International is now running the most comprehensive claim and relationship management system designed for restoration contractors. The DASH platform, branded for Rainbow International as FUSION, includes their proprietary claim management processes.


Each insurance carrier has a unique program to fit their specific standards, and alerts give franchisees notice of due dates, so they don't miss any of the carrier's standards. For instance, when a job is assigned to a franchisee, the local franchisee must contact the customer within one hour and be on-site within four hours. The platform can also be managed through a proprietary mobile app, which can be used to launch maps with directions to a house or business, upload photos of damage taken from a cell phone, call the homeowner and even sign documents, such as work authorizations.


From a corporate perspective, FUSION shows each franchisees performance, so they are able to identify if more training is needed. Links to jobs can also be sent to consumers so they can follow the work being done on their home or business.


"We once had a homeowner in the military who was deployed half way around the world. He was stressed because he couldn't be there in person to monitor the work being done on his home," said Welstead. " We were able to put him at ease when we sent him the job link because he could track progress, deadlines and see photos and notes from our technicians in real-time.
