Playtri to Open First Retail Franchise

The first franchise location of Playtri, a Dallas-based multisport retailer, will open next month in Fort Worth, Texas.

Playtri announced in January that it was selling franchises. It currently has five company-owned locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The new store is the Alliance area in North Fort Worth, which Playtri said is a fast-growing area.  "This expanding area of Fort Worth is an excellent opportunity for Playtri to meet the needs of the community with a bike shop and coaching services.
We look forward to a successful start to our franchise operations and sharing our goal of a healthy lifestyle with more people every day," said Staci Brode, the president of Playtri Franchising.

The new location will offer bicycles, tri gear, running shoes, a full-service bike center, recovery tools and training classes.

Playtri is accepting applications for those interested in opening franchise locations in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
