New Indianapolis PIRTEK branch opens for business

A new PIRTEK has opened its doors to expand the company's hydraulic hose replacement service in the Indianapolis metro area. PIRTEK Pike's Service & Supply Center is at 4219 West 96th St. in northeast Indianapolis. The opening broadens the coverage area for owner Ian Harley, who also owns PIRTEK Perry at 3015 South Harding St. "PIRTEK has been very well-received in Indianapolis," Harley said. "I wanted to better serve our customers, give them even faster response times. That's why I opened this new location. It increases our capabilities here and puts us nearer to some of our key customers. It also allows us to carry more inventory and additional technical capacity." A team of 10, including eight mobile technicians, now covers the expansive Indianapolis market. The only franchise of its kind in the United States, PIRTEK provides hydraulic and industrial hose replacement sales and services. PIRTEK's highly trained technicians eliminate downtime by performing maintenance services onsite when a hydraulic or pneumatic hose failure occurs. Since then, he's made it a point to train his employees and prepare them for advancement into leadership roles. Josh Mendoza, originally a service technician, has been promoted to branch manager of the new PIRTEK location.
