Expedia CruiseShipCenters' newest winner - Staten Islander wins free Norwegian Cruise to Bermuda

"Am I getting 'Punked' right now?" 
Those were the first words Grace Kobryn of New Dorp uttered upon finding out she's going on a free five-day cruise to Bermuda this November, thanks to Norwegian Cruise Line and Expedia CruiseShipCenters.

Kobryn was declared the winner of the Staten Island Advance Island Getaway Sweepstakes on Wednesday, June 20.
"It honestly feels unreal," said Kobryn, holding the gift certificate she received from Harold Verde, owner of Expedia CruiseShipCenters, at the Advance office in Grasmere Tuesday morning.  "Although we may be a part of a global organization by name, we still feel a sense of community with the residents of Staten Island," Verde said. "As such we wanted to give back to the community which has helped us to grow and to continue to grow into a thriving travel business."
Kobryn is allowed to bring one more person on this all-inclusive vacation overseas.  Kobryn said she has to choose between two loved ones already.

"My boyfriend, Brandon, and my mom are already kinda vying for it," she said with a giggle. "It's gonna be tough to choose, but, luckily, I have some time."

Kobryn will set sail on the Norwegian Cruise Gem from Nov. 10-Nov. 15. The ship will depart from NYC.
