If a live-in companion service is affordable and comparable to assisted living options, most older adults opt for a live-in companion relationship. Aegin Place has emerged as an agency that matches qualified companions with older adults for long term home assignments at an affordable price. Our insured live-in companions can assist older adults in maintaining a self-sufficient status in their own home.
The goal of the program is to facilitate older adults with daily activities on a live-in basis as an alternative to an assisted living center, boarding home or nursing home placement.

- Care coordination is an integral part of any companion placement.
- Before we place a live-in companion a free assessment helps determine the suitability of a home companion placement.
- Extensive companion background checks occur before any placement occurs.
- Companions are placed on live-in and hourly basis only.
- Franchises are required to have liability insurance.
- Our live-in companions are screened extensively and the company has liability insurance.
- Weekly reporting is required by all live-in companions.
- Ongoing case management occurs throughout the placement by a registered nurse.
