Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company is an award-winning chocolatier founded in
St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to the opening in 1981, our founding
chocolatier spent years training with the finest candy makers across the
country. His apprenticeship taught him the secrets of handcrafting
premium chocolates in small batches. Some of the recipes used today were
passed down from candy maker to candy maker dating back to 1904. Our
All Natural chocolates are made with the purest and finest ingredients -
including Fair Trade Certified Cocoa and Cane Sugar!
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company was founded in 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri. Our vision was simple, use the finest ingredients such as pure chocolate, fresh salted nuts, creamy hand made caramel, and centers prepared in small batches at a time. We then began many year round traditions such as the fresh chocolate covered strawberries by hand dipping them every morning. Our distinct recipe of our rich, creamy milk and dark chocolate has separated us from the rest of the industry. We strive to bring you the highest grade of chocolates which is why our chocolate is "made with real cocoa beans."
In late 2002, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company envisioned expansion by adding more stores. In order to do so, we franchised our candy store concept while maintaining superb quality. Today we continue to open more candy stores with great success.
About South Bend Chocolate Company
Chocolate is in the Tarner family's blood. When Mark Tarner founded the South Bend Chocolate Company (SBCC) in 1991, he had already spent several years working in his father's chocolate factory. Privately owned and operated, the South Bend Chocolate Company got its start making chocolates under a license from the
University of Notre Dame, and currently makes licensed chocolates for
other schools, including Indiana University and Purdue University. In
addition, South Bend Chocolate Company also wholesales its product line to gift shops, gourmet
food stores, coffee shops and gift basket companies throughout the
country.
South Bend Chocolate Company franchises operate retail kiosks, Chocolate Caf'ites and
Caf'xpress coffee carts in malls throughout Indiana and other states.
The total investment necessary to begin operation of the Kiosk model
ranges from $85,700 to $111,005, and for the Cafe Model range from
$340,552 to $676,460.
For the Kiosk model, this includes $55,000 to
