One day an air conditioning service company received a call from a customer who wanted her system cleaned. When the servicemen explained how it could be done, the customer insisted they come and do the job. After receiving a thank you call and a referral from the customer the next day, the company decided to go into the air duct cleaning business.

Ductbusters was founded in Clearwater, Florida, in 1985 and cleans all sizes and types of heating and air conditioning ducts.
