In 1999, the founders of Math Squared, Henry Yang and Jean Tsai realized that most children were having difficulties with problem solving in mathematics and therefore started research about all kinds of math learning programs available. Since the company's inception, 15 centers have been established in the US operating with Math Squared's license program. The founder of Smart Kids, Perry Ho believes that math is more than just the computation; children should be able to think out of the box and be equipped to overcome further challenges. Perry has more than 10 years of working experience as a Program/Marketing Manager in AT&T Bell Labs. She has won the highest honor of Bells Labs President Award for outstanding work.
