In 1959 the Monical family started making pizzas in the little town of Tolono, Illinois. Before long, their recipe became a hit with many of their local friends and neighbors. Thus was born Monical’s Pizza, a name that over the years has become synonymous locally with the very finest thin crust pizza.

Today there are over 60 Monical’s Pizza restaurants, primarily located throughout Central Illinois with several in Indiana, one in Missouri, and one in Wisconsin. Monical’s great pizza has evolved into a dining tradition for countless families and into a financially-solid steadily-growing foodservice institution. In an intensely competitive business environment, Monical’s Pizza has managed not only to keep up, but outpace many of its larger competitors. Double Pizza was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1991. We started working on our concept of giving our clientele the most value that we could possibly give. We are a 100% Quebecois brand, started in Montreal, owned by Montrealers and growing. Double Pizza has been awarded the Consumer Choice for the past 6 years.
Double Pizza is the largest independent franchiser in Montreal and growing. Our growing loyal customers have always been surprised and satisfied with our expert delivery service of quality pizzas at incredible prices. Our menu has expanded from pizzas and calzones, to steak subs, burgers, hot dogs & fries, and our famous chicken wings and poutine (try them and you will see). We have expanded to 35 locations in the greater Montreal area, South Shore and Laval. We prepare our pizzas with fresh dough, home-made sauce, fresh not frozen crispy vegetables topped with first-quality cheese before being put into our oven. We buy only Quebec produce and products from our crisp fresh vegetables to our mozzarella cheese. We are so pleased that every dollar spent and every dollar earned stays within the Quebec economy.
