About Kids in Sports

Kids in Sports was started in 1999 in New York City by Michael Strutt and Kenneth Colon whose passion for sports and coaching led them to design programs that teach children ages 12 months to 12 years the fundamentals of sports in a safe, fun, friendly and supportive environment. In addition to the basic rules and skills of sports children learn sportsmanship, teamwork, respect and communication - the building blocks for young athletes. Recently Mike and Kenny - interested in expanding their program - developed their franchise concept. Their goal is to team up with qualified people that will bring the same passion and energy for operating a children's sports program as they always have. Mike and Kenny and their team are managing all support of their franchisees. Kids In Sports is positioned to be a leader in the area of Children's Sports instructional programs and look forward to expanding their successful brand. Today Kids In Sports is a thriving business operating out of a storefront location on New York's Upper East Side, along with several satellite locations. We teach the fundamentals of Baseball, Basketball, Football, Floor Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer and Volleyball through our Multi-Sport or Sport Specific Classes. We also offer a Pre-School Athletes Program which is a combination of Sports and Education; many of our families use this program as a Pre-School alternative. Additionally Kids in Sports offer weekly camps throughout the summer and Holiday breaks during the year. We also host Birthday Parties and School Picnics The goal is to team up with qualified people that will bring the same passion and energy for operating a children's sports program as they always have. Mike and Kenny and their team are managing all support of their franchisees. Kids In Sports is positioned to be a leader in the area of Children's Sports instructional programs and look forward to expanding their successful brand.
